Nexus runs a tiered vendor program with three things buyers should care about. Application vetting before listings go live. A reputation system that survives platform-side change events (vendor history follows the vendor profile, not the mirror). A dispute panel that exposes outcomes on the vendor profile so you can read the history before ordering.
Long order history with consistent ship-out timing. Dispute outcomes weighted toward buyer-favourable resolution or low overall dispute volume. Active forum presence on the platform forum (vendors who post tend to take their reputation more seriously). Listings priced in line with category averages, not aggressively below.
New vendors with aggressive underpricing. Vendors with high feedback count but elevated dispute-loss ratios (the pattern of a vendor coasting on residual reputation while planning a graceful exit). Listings asking for finalize-early outside what the platform supports as default.
Read the profile. Spend ninety seconds before clicking buy. The data is exposed; use it.
